WHAT
Youβll Learn
These topics are introduced at AS Level and further developed with greater depth and complexity at A Level.
Organic chemistry is a major focus at A Level and is studied in significantly greater depth than at AS Level. Students not only revisit foundational concepts but also explore advanced topics, mechanisms, and synthetic strategies that are crucial for further study in chemistry, medicine, and biological sciences.
These advanced areas prepare students for university-level chemistry, helping them understand chemical principles in real-world and research contexts.
